Sustainable Lighting Design

Miss Nightingale Candleholder

Miss Nightingale will be launched internationally during the Salone del Mobile in Milan (April 9th – April 14th). With Miss Nightingale Annet van Egmond causes a small revolution in the world of lighting.
This stylish high-tech candleholder combines LED-lighting and solar energy with high quality industrial design and sustainable composition. A successful designer of light sculptures for over thirty years, Van Egmond now shines a new light on solar energy.

The Dutch in Milano

Nicole Uniquole, curator of Masterly – the Dutch in Milano, calls designer Annet van Egmond an asset to the Dutch Pavilion. The Salone was chosen as this year Euroluce takes place simultaneously. This International Lighting Exhibition is the most forward-looking trade fair for lighting design, with a great deal of attention being paid to sustainable design and energy efficiency.
