The first of Hortense Sculpture
This is the first sculpture welded by Annet in 2019. Just like 33 years ago, Annet does not know in advance what the end result will be. A number of abstract Rhythmic sketches from 1988 and the Hydrangeas from her garden form the basis of her sculpture. She uses new technology and combines this with traditional welding and grinding. When the light shines on the artwork, shadows and rhythms appear on the walls of the Art Space. The artwork becomes part of the space when the light falls on it. As a result, the artwork with its lines and flowers will change with each season.
